"Tis the Season"

As promised its time to update the blog theme and what better theme than Christmas.

"That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them. They were terribly frightened, but the angel reassured them. 'Don't be afraid!' he said. 'I bring you good news of great joy for everyone! The Savior -- yes, the Messiah, the Lord -- has been born tonight in Bethlehem, the city of David! And this is how you will recognize him: You will find a baby lying in a manger, wrapped snugly in strips of cloth!' " -- Luke 2:8-12

I still need to update pictures from November so keep checking....

The Baillie October Part II

Our Church had a Trunk or Treat in the community, so the girls got to dress up in costume on the Tuesday before Halloween. I was manning the welcome table for an hour, so the girls played in the jump house with a friend. They had a great time. Craig and I went to our neighbors on Saturday for a costume party. We had a great time. I'll post pictures when I get them.

We had pizza at the plaza where the festivities were held!

The Baillie October

Well October started out great... The weather is changing and I'm loving the cool down. The girls were busy in school with a variety of fall field trips. It's all Craig and I can do to coordinate who gets to go where (the parents of course)!

First up is Savannah getting Student of the Month. So Proud we are!

Savannah Went to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm with her class. We went another day as a family to get our pumpkins. Kinda like picking out a christmas tree.

Mikayla's like's to go too...

Now that we have our pumpkin's, it's time to get to work!

"Voila!!!"

New Layout

Well, as you can see, I have a new look to our blog. I'm having fun learning html. I'm going to try to give a new look for the different holidays. I'm still doing a little tweaking (Baby steps,) so please be patient with me. For the most part everything is working. Everyone is doing well and I will be posting the girls school pictures and Halloween pictures soon. The weather here in Northern California is trying to cool down... I'm ready to pull out the sweaters.
We are going to the local "Pumpkin Patch" with the girls this month. We like to get our pumpkins there and then as a family carve them. Craig and I challenge each other to see who can do the most detailed!
We are hoping to go see Sam play Stanford the day before Thanksgiving and Cal Berkley in December. We used to go watch Ray play at these venues as well.

Next it will be Jimi we hope.. I'm twisting Craig's arm to take me to San Diego to see Air Force play in February and spend a few days, cuz, I've never been there before...The girls love watching their cousins play ball and its great to have some family time and see extended family members.
Well that's the latest, keep looking for more to come. When I have new updates I will post as soon as I can.

Baking Cookie's in our new Aprons!

We finally had the chance to get in the kitchen and bake some cookie's. The girls were so excited. We got this recipe from Uncle John for "Great grandma's Dishpan Cookie's" He brought them on our Big Silver camp trip and they were yummy! Cousin Laurie blessed us with three beautiful aprons. The girls are reversible and they just love them.

Savannah crushing the Corn Flakes!

Thank you Aunt Laurie!

Wait a minute girls, I think there is a cookie missing!!!
YUM!

Savannah's "First Day of Kindergarten"

Well the big day has finally come.... Savannah was so excited. We have Savannah in Phoenix schools. She just loves it.

Family Camping at "Big Silver"

When I was a kid, this is where we used to camp all the time. The rocks have caves in them. Debbie and Doug were here on this trip as well as my mom. It brought back alot of memories to share with our kids... They had a blast. Big Silver has been turned into a group camp, so we had it all to ourselves. We had about 26 of us for 4 days. It was such a hit that I've already booked it for a week next year...

Across the road from camp is the trail head to get to Bassi Falls. Turned out to be quite the hike and there was no water coming off the falls. Well it is August and there is a drought..Duh! Next year we are going in June ! Should be water then. Kids sure slept good that night!

July 4th 2008 "Manchester Beach"

For the 4th of July this year we went with our friends Vince, Marlene, Maddie and Leena to another one of our favorite places . Manchester Beach KOA! Manchester is on the northern coast of California about 20 miles south of Ft. Bragg. The weather was perfect, and there was alot of activities for the kids. Adults just relaxed and enjoyed the time off work!!

The Kids had a grand time in the swimming pool. There was Karaoke, a parade, best decoration contest, playground and of coarse the beach.

A fun time had by all!!

"Tween Birthday Sleep Over"

Well I survived my daughter Mikayla's 12th birthday. She invited six of her friends for a slumber party. Craig took Savannah to my mom's to go swimming (Coward!) We started with snacks, then to Pizza then cake and lastly popcorn and a movie all the while giggles and laughter abound. They played games and sang Karaoke. I just sat back and watched 7 young girls having more fun imaginable. When Craig returned, he and Savannah retreated to the back room (where they stayed the rest of the night) and after the movie approx. 1:30am I retreated to the spare room exhausted while the girls layed in the sleeping bags playing there Nintendo Ds's till about 3:am. Oh to be young again!

"Mikayla, dreaming about her 13th birthday!"
